Summer Camps

It's never too early to be thinking about how to occupy your child this summer. Whether is an academic, sports, or religious camp, there is a summer program to fit every child at nearly every age.

Day Camps

Day camps can be found locally, are held during business hours, and give children time to spend with their families. Most cities have an abundance of day camps to choose from, and are designed for different age groups from elementary to teens. A lot of camps conveniently serve all ages at the same location and yet plan different activities appropriate for each age group. Not every parent works during typical business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. that's why many summer camps offer extended care hours in the early morning and late afternoon. The best part about day camps is that children still have the evenings and weekends with their families!

Overnight Camps
Unlike day camps, overnight camps are not as easy to find and may not be as convenient to commute to. However, they offer your child a whole different experience that can be both educational and rewarding. Most overnight camps are only offered to late middle school, high school, and teenage children. Campers attend the summer program during the day and overnight, parents can visit or pick up their children at any time. While maintaining flexibility, this type of camp allows your child to experience more freedom in a controlled social environment.
Away Camps

Away camps can be frightening for both the parent and child; however, the rewards can be far-reaching. Often campers that attend away summer programs make long-lasting friendships. Kids travel from different states and sometimes even different countries to attend the summer program which gives your child knowledge from different areas and cultures. The experience for your child can be everlasting and life-altering.
